Palace Station hotel and resort Las Vegas is just off the Strip on W. Sahara Ave. It is a locals casino that is owned and operated by Station Casinos Inc. and has 1,100 rooms. It opened on July 1, 1976 as the Bingo Palace.

"Palace Station is wonderful! Great deals on rooms, and its cheap to upgrade to the tower at check-in. Its not wicked fancy, but its as nice as most hotels you stay in while on vacation anyways. The casino has a great atmosphere late night, as you can tell the crew know most of the gamblers by name, its fun to sit at these tables with these people, its like being part of a family. Low minimums, too, so you don't lose an arm and a leg. Their Mexican restaurant is better than anything we've tried around home!"

"It's hard to complain about Palace Station with the $25 per night deal we got. Still, the Garden rooms are small and cramped, somewhat dingy, and lack some amenities I consider basic (e.g., coffee maker, bathtub). The carpet and wallpaper in the hallways were at least 20 years old and, quite frankly, it smelled. I understand that the rooms in the tower of the hotel are much nicer, though more expensive. I'm not much of a gambler, but the casino seemed OK, if on the small side. It's about a mile from the strip and nothing is within walking distance, so you have to take a car or hotel shuttle. I recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here."

"This is a good place to stay. Its not super fancy but I can get what I want and if not, there is always the strip. I prefer Orleans but Palace Station gets some of our business."
